BACKGROUND

With a background in the services sector, Adri started doing ISO Management Systems consulting on 1 December 2016 and is responsible for the facilitation of implementation of management systems up to certification.

Adri du Plessis

Adri joined Bsi on 1 February 2015 because of the acquisition of PricewaterhouseCoopers Certification (Pty) Ltd (A division of Sustainability & Integrated Reporting at PwC) and was responsible for the day-to-day functioning and growth of the South African operations including ensure compliance to the National Accreditation Body for the United Kingdom (UKAS) accreditation requirements.


Been in PwC Sustainability & Integrated Reporting division, Adri also has vast experience in combined audit teams for combined assurance audits. She was responsible for the Certification division as well as maintaining their ISO 17021 accreditation with the Dutch Accreditation Council (RvA) and South African National Accreditation System (SANAS).


Prior to joining PwC Certification, Adri was the Operational Manager at the South African Bureau of Standards (SABS) Certification, specialising in the services sector, auditing of ISO management system principles, risk assessments, tools and techniques across many areas covering customer services, operations management, supply chain and manufacturing such as: Linde/BOC/Afrox, Life Healthcare, Plessey, 3M, Nashua Central, Medscheme, Anglo Technical Services, Avis Car Rental, Aurecon, Vodacom, MTN, CNG Holdings, Gijima, Tlou Consulting Engineers, Vergenoeg Mine, etc.
